For doing so you get a cash reward and a crafting recipe. (It is possible to get this crafting recipe from another "special order" as well.) That box is where you deposit the crops. You need use the shipping box to get achievements related to selling stuff. For example, ship 15 of every crop. I would use Pierres if you need the cash that day. Since the shipping box only gives you the cash after you sleep. But if you need those crops for an achievement, use the box.Pierre, you owned the only store in town for years until Joja moved in. Jojamart's prices are identical to Pierre's IF you have bought the membership. Otherwise, they're much more expensive, except for sunflower seeds. Considering the membership is an additional 5000, it's safe to say Pierre's is much better in every way, except where sunflower seeds are concerned.It was only added with the 1.5 update and is a quest from the other noticeboard added with that update that has a quest every Monday, so that might be why!
